Nothing Is Free In Life
Nothing is free in life. If you believe otherwise, you were sold a bill of goods.
It’s about awareness. . . Self Awareness.
LIFE is MEASURED by TIME.
I’m not talking about the meaning of, or the quality of, but rather the method of measuring life. And that measurement is Time. How you spend your time – your life – is a revelation of what you think is valuable to you or necessary for you.
What you spend you time doing is what you give up a part of your life for. So you see, nothing is free. Everything has a price and that price is your life . . . your life-time. Too often we get caught up in the minutiae of life’s distractions and fail to follow our bliss.
How you value your time is a reflection of your belief of your level of self worth. Free this, free that – bullshit, it’s all a lie. For example, you may think it’s free for you to read my blog post. You made a choice consciously or not, to take the time to read this. And it cost you. Maybe just a few minutes, but it cost you nonetheless.
Learning, wisdom, education – none of it is free – you trade your life for it. Take the time to discover what you feel is worth trading (spending) your life on.
Your life is like a fixed/set amount of money – you don’t get more of it and it doesn’t accrue interest or grow. You can waste it or spend it wisely. It’s up to you.
The point I’m wanting to make here is, live with intention. Have a purpose, and make it a good one. One that is worthy of your life. When your time comes to an end, will you have regrets, or will you transition with a feeling of satisfaction for a life well lived?
