Red Ocean Blue Ocean Strategy Explained
If you’re an internet marketer, attraction marketer, direct sales/ mlm / Network marketer you are fishing in a Red Ocean. The Red OCean has tons of other fishermen all fishing for the same fish.
Enter the Blue Ocean – you are the only fisherman in an ocean full of fish.
A Blue Ocean is an uncontested market place. A Blue Ocean offers new opportunity for profitable and rapid growth to an entirely new market. In a Red Ocean market, everyone is just talking a different version of the sames thing to the same group of people VS a Blue Ocean where you guide new people over to your primary program.
Advertising in a new market – like all those high quality professional friends and acquaintances who you’d love to share this sort of business model with but haven’t due to the stigma of unprofessionalism and distaste by the majority of people who don’t truly understand the concept.
Example of a Blue Ocean:
Cirque Du Soleil. They entered the circus business when it was a failing industry. Leaders like Ringling Bros were losing money. The founders of Cirque Du Soleil reinvented the circus – eliminating the animals and brought in a whole new type of customer – the kind that is willing to spend $50-100 for theatre or opera. They experienced rapid growth and profit because they tapped into a Blue Ocean customer base in an existing Red Ocean.
So why all the talk about Colored Oceans?
Let’s start with taking a look at the
STATE OF THE INDUSTRY:
Overwhelmed by Information Overload + People not knowing the big vision + not entrepreneurs+not knowing how everything fits together = Lack Of Duplication.
Toss in ‘program hopping’, ‘guru worship’ and ‘useless training’ and most people lose time and money and get nowhere. On the other side, leaders are frustrated by lack of duplication on their teams, wearing too many hats and getting burned out.
To be a Top Producer you must focus and master 1 or 2 methods. Get it to the stage that you semi-automate them, the move to another tactic. Don’t try to be a jack of all trades and master of none. That leads to frustration and ultimately failure.
Attraction Marketing = Mindset, skills, charisma, confidence. This is not easy to duplicate. Much of what you see as attraction marketing out there is actually repelling more than attracting due to people misunderstanding how to go about it.
Funded Proposals – many people are hip to this now – need subtly due to it’s decreasing effectiveness.
A Massive opportunity is here – but need New Tools and a New Vision.
Enter the Blue Ocean. This is actually nothing new – it’s been working offline for years.

The VISION:
Web 3.0: A new way to do marketing and business. . . A New distribution channel. Seeing the elimination of the dirty terms Home Based Business, Make Money At Home and Scam.
P2P (peer to peer) verses B2B (business to business) or B2C (business to consumer). With P2P we interact with each other to introduce and sell products and services.
A perfect example of this came online 10 years ago. It was Ebay. Ebay created a professional environment that was easy to use, a safe community and the average individual could harness it’s power.
A recent example of the power of the individual over a Big Corporation was Ashton Kutcher’s bet to see if he or CNN could get a million Twitter followers first. In my opinion, not the best example of an individual David vs Goliath, but it did get Big Corp’s attention … Expect them to want to be partnering with individuals within the next 5 years.
Early adapters and risk takers like Dan Kennedy, Frank Kern and Russell Brunson make more money in a month than most people make all year.
The question arises, if it’s so good, if the money is so good, then why aren’t more people doing it?
- Lack of professionalism
- Avoiding warm markets
- No duplication
- No mass attraction
- Lack of understanding where to start
- Fear of being scammed
- Lack of safety and trust and
- Wasting valuable time and money.
These are reasons why it’s not VIRAL . . . yet.
